How to use the Toxic Level calculator

  1. Tick every statement that sounds like you. No one is watching (except your conscience).
  2. Add your name if you want it on the share card.
  3. Tap Calculate my toxic level to get your toxicity percentage and official diagnosis.
  4. Share it and dare your friends to beat your score — the link shows them your exact result.

Each habit adds points; ticking none leaves you in Golden Retriever territory. It's a tongue-in-cheek quiz, not a psychological assessment.

Frequently asked questions

Am I toxic? Can this quiz tell me?

This is a joke quiz, so no — it can't diagnose anything. It just adds up points for some very relatable (and very petty) habits. If you want genuine insight into how you act in relationships, honest feedback from people you trust or a therapist is far more useful.

How is the toxic level calculated?

Everyone starts at 5%. Each statement you tick adds between 6 and 14 points depending on how chaotic it is, plus a small fixed "lab variance" of 0–5 points based on your answers. The total is capped at 100%.

Is the toxic level test accurate?

No. It is designed for entertainment and sharing with friends. Results are deterministic, so the same answers always give the same score, but the score itself means nothing scientific.

What if a statement describes something serious in my relationship?

Some jokes here (like constant location checking or demanding passwords) can be signs of controlling behaviour in real life. If that feels familiar — from either side — consider talking to someone you trust or a relationship support service.

Can I share my toxic test result?

Yes. Tap Share result to post an image card or a link to WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, X and more. Anyone who opens the link sees your score and can take the test themselves.

⚠️ Pure Entertainment

This calculator is a humorous, satirical tool designed to make you laugh — not a genuine personality assessment. Real self-improvement involves honest self-reflection, possibly with the guidance of a therapist or counselor. If this quiz makes you chuckle and share with friends, it has served its purpose!

History & interesting facts

Did you know?

Origin & history

The term "toxic" in relationship contexts gained mainstream popularity around 2018–2020 through social media and was named Oxford Dictionary's Word of the Year in 2018. While pop psychology uses it casually, clinical psychologists prefer specific terms like "narcissistic," "avoidant," or "codependent" to describe unhealthy relationship patterns.

Fascinating facts

  3. 3

Self-awareness about one's own communication patterns is the first step toward healthier relationships.
